29th May 2013 Windsurfing: Newgale Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Thigh high waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: 10 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Enough of a swell to give small clean waves and the wind direction was good for riding. Wind light, but forecast to pick up. Local advice was that once clouds cleared then wind would kick in. Hard work as wing v gusty and difficult to keep planing. managed to catch a few waves - great practice for me as a beginner in dtl. Nice to have the sun after the rain on Monday. Then wind filled in properly and 5.7 was too much, but I had to go anyway. |
